We are excited to welcome InPost to The Mercury!
Located on the ground floor of The Mercury, InPost lockers make it easier to drop off and pick up parcels from Vinted, big name stores or simply send to friends and family.
The Parcel locker is on ground floor, past the lifts on way to the toilets.
Find some helpful information about InPost lockers below –
What’s a locker?
Parcel lockers are secure, convenient spots that make online shopping a breeze.
These self-service storage lockers make collecting orders, returning items, and sending parcels a total breeze. Say goodbye to missed deliveries and hello to convenience.
The best part? They don’t need a wink of sleep – you can use them 24/7.
Lockers are here to simplify your life and keep your packages safe and sound.
How to use parcel lockers
InPost lockers make it easy to collect your online orders, return items, or send parcels
1. Create your code
Check your store’s return instructions and follow the steps to create an InPost QR code – this is all you need to drop off your parcel with us.
When you choose to use InPost as your return option, we’ll ping you an email with your code
2. Pop to your point
You can return using any of our lockers or shops with space available.
For lockers, scan your QR code to open a locker and put your parcel inside.
For shops, show the staff member your QR code to scan, and hand your parcel over.
Our couriers will pick up your parcel and add a label (so you don’t have to). They will then take it back to the store. You can track your parcel every step of the way.
Heads up – you’ll need to check the retailer’s return policy for info on refunds.
How much does it cost to send a parcel?
InPost pricing is based on parcel size, not weight! That means no need to stress about the scales. Just pick your parcel size and you’re good to go.
Sending to an InPost Locker or Shop:
- Small – £1.99
- Medium – £2.59
- Large – £3.99
Sending to a home address:
- Small – £2.89
- Medium – £3.99
- Large – £5.99
How big are InPost Lockers?
Our largest lockers can fit parcels that are up to 41cm x 38 cm x 64cm – and the maximum weight we accept is 15kg.
To avoid any stuck parcels or damaged doors, please don’t try to force your parcel in if it’s a bit too snug.
What happens if the InPost Locker is too small?
If the compartment size you selected is too small, please don’t force your parcel to fit.
Simply close the compartment door without placing your parcel inside and tap ‘My parcel doesn’t fit’ on the locker screen. If you’re sending a Vinted parcel or a Return, you’ll then be able to choose a different compartment size on the screen. If you’ve bought a label from the InPost app, then you’ll need to cancel it through the app and purchase a new one with the correct size.
Our locker sizes are:
- Extra small – 4cm x 23cm x40cm
- Small – 8cm x 38cm x 64cm
- Medium – 19cm x 38cm x 64cm
- Large – 41cm x 38cm x 64cm
How long do I have to drop off my parcel?
Once you’ve bought your digital label, you have 30 days to drop off your parcel. You can use any of our lockers or shops with space – you can check the map section in
the app for availability.
If you don’t drop off your parcel before the 30 days are up we’ll cancel the label and you’ll receive a refund.
