The Songbird Hotel - Big Bird Hotel Build

We are building a hotel for the songbirds of Romford, but we need your help to put together more than 10 blue-tit boxes as part of the installation. Using waste wood and real tools, help in-house builder Martin make our local birds feel at home with somewhere new to nest.

 

The bird boxes made on the day will be painted the next day and then installed together in a tree at the centre. The birdboxes will not be to keep, but will guide you how to make one of your own.

 

We suggest that familys book this activity as all tasks carried out by under 16s must be overseen by a guardian.

 

This activity forms part of 'Architecture Adventure', Havering's annual Architecture festival.
