Mother's day at The Mercury Mall

Lisa Atkinson, from Romford, nominated her mum, Margaret, for a competition, run by us, to enjoy a day of shopping and pampering.

 

 Lisa said: “My mum is a superhero. She works two jobs and cares for both my unwell grandfather and uncle, yet still finds time to help and support her friends and family. “She has beaten cancer and had two major operations without so much as a whinge, and supported me through some of the hardest times of my life. She’s not only my mum but my best friend as well.”

 

 

Margaret was given a new hairdo at Vida Hair and Beauty, as well as a makeover from the team at Calista Beauty, before being treated to a new dress, purse and heels. “I’ve had such a lovely day and really enjoyed myself. It was so thoughtful of Lisa to nominate me,” said Margaret. “I feel fantastic.”
