Lumiere launches baby friendly screenings
Lumiere has launched their first ever parent and baby screenings from Monday 12th May.
Parents can see recent films without worrying about their baby crying or disrupting others. The first films offered at the venue are The Penguin Lessons and The Extraordinary Miss Flower.
“At Lumiere Romford, we believe that enjoying a movie should be accessible to everyone, including parents with young children. Our baby-friendly screenings are designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for families, allowing them to reconnect with cinema in a relaxed atmosphere.”
The schedule will include alternating weeks of kids/family movies one week and the latest comedy/romcom the next. These sessions will be marked on their website as “noisy screens” and you’ll be able to see what’s on offer a month in advance so you can plan to see what you want well in advance.
The parent friendly screenings are 10am or 10:30am on Mondays. This gives parents the space to take themselves out without the fear of being looked down upon because their infant is crying, better still those films are not films aimed at children, allowing parents to stay up to date with the latest movies even though they might have a newborn baby.
